My recommendation is not to trust Longs, I regret my purchase. Am looking for another company to finish the job.
The customer service skills were below average as to what would have been as normally expected. A simple request to see how much a service fee for diagnostics after providing my location information and the cost that is charged per pound of r410a couldn’t be answered. Rather, I would have to provide my contact information to be contacted later.
Well turns out this company is to me honest and punctual. Sam came out check it out and gave me a price , on time , simple and a fast quote the next day so I went with his Company, and completed the JOB in a professional fast manner , Now On the other hand I did call 1 HOUR for a inspection on my ceiling A/C due to it not being cold , when repair person arrived he never climb to the roof or remove the inspection cover inside from the A/C but did charge me $59.00 but did offer me an estimate to replace , have at her I said. he came back with a quote in about 12 minutes at $5,600 , I was not going to commit till I get another quote, so I called LONG'S now remember I am new to Avon Park and know no one but people in the park did refer me as a good neighbor would to both, Now get this LONG'S came out and gave me a quote for same JOB as 1 Hour did except( replacing higher breaker ) When Longs called me back with a quote of $3,850 Who would you go to and what would you do , so I give this Husband & Wife company A+

Long's is great. No matter when I call they somehow pull it out of the hat and get me cool and comfy,. Life in Florida is not fun when the AC dies and I think it is a true blessing to have a fast responding AC company! I am so glad God created AC!
Hit or miss, here. The tech that comes out may or may not be competent. For sure they overbilled me, a simple local call got a quote at $75 and they billed me $129. Been waiting 3 weeks for a simple fan blade that could be purchased just about anywhere with a shaft size and blade diameter - however, I am a senior citizen living in a trailer in central Florida with an a/c unit that doesn't work. Did I mention I purchased the unit from Long's just a few years ago? Also called 10 days ago for an update - still nothing.
