This historic building houses a culinary school. We went for a group Ladies Luncheon and all we're more than pleased. The buffet offered fried chicken, baked chicken, BBQ short beef ribs, tilapia along with a full salad bar, various vegetables and a full dessert bar. All was delicious, wait staff was very nice and the ambiance was wonderful. A place to definetly return to.
The buffet had a good variety. The fried chicken was really good. The dessert options were many and what I had was really good.
Wow what a cool historic place to stay and eat. People a very accommodating and friendly. A must stop place when in the area.
Stayed here often while my daughter was enrolled at South Florida State College. Staff helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Staying here is like stepping back in time. Babe Ruth, George and Gracie Burns, and Al Capone stayed here back in their heyday. Very historic place, still using the old style elevator, with the bell hop lever and cage.
We go here a few times a year with our motorcycling friends , very nice buffet lunch. In season I'd recommend calling ahead as it can be busy.
