Our daughter Jenn placed a review about our roof. Everything she said is correct. I just wanted to update the final result. Cobb Roofing has corrected all the issues. We are happy with our new metal roof. It looks great. We had about 5 inches of rain yesterday and no leaks. We feel that Cobb Roofing was very upset themselves when they saw all the spots in our ceiling. Mike and Keith said they would make it right and they have.
My mother was having a metal roof installed. They began on June 27, 2016. It is now July 12, 2016. They have had only black felt on the roof for two weeks now. It starting raining today....there are more than 12 leaks in the house. The celings are wet in at least 12 spots. Water collected in the attic door and leaked onto the bed below. A dresser and bed were ruined. The floor is soaking wet. When we open the attic door water poured out. We have been calling asking when they were coming. Now it is too late. We will be contacting them tomorrow. I hope their response is to take care of everything they have ruined. I will be updating this to let everyone know how the problem was handled. They probably have more wet plywood now than they did when they discovered the roof needed replaced. The whole job basically needs to be started over. They need to replace insulation as well and celings. I will update with progress
Thrilled to pieces with professionalism of these folks. Roof is beautiful. Heavy weight underlay which Mr. Cobb recommended is wonderful--very high quality. Went through hurricane Irma without a loose shingle. Could not be happier!
Cobb Roofing installed a tile roof on our new home in 2008. We just replaced this roof due to multiple leaks which began during the first year. Their response to my complaints was very disappointing and we received no satisfaction from them as to repairing the leaks caused by their poor quality workmanship. When the tiles were removed there were multiple sections of the decking that was rotten causing roof leaks and damaged drywall inside the house.
I would not recommend Cobb roofing because of a quote he was to give me on a roof repair in a few days never was received. Even after stopping and asking for it few times.
